Meet your neighbors!

Jim and Sharron Goff, my good friends and neighbors in Skyko 3, have a very unique business!

I think I'm going to start calling Jim and Sharron my "vinyl neighbors." I know they will understand, but doubt very much that they will ever hear about it, because they don't own or know how to use a computer. You will understand too when you see the article. I keep in touch with them by telephone (or in-person here at the cabin) and send them (via snail mail) a copy of website news now and then. Nope - they don't even have a fax machine! I admire them. Here I am in the wilderness fighting for technology and they're probably wondering why in the world did I sacrifice a tree for a satellite connection! I'm not sure yet who's got it right, but maybe we all do!

A little "inside information"... Guess why the shop is only open Tuesday through Saturday? Jim and Sharron are very attached to their "frog place" at Skyko 3 and are quite regular about their Sunday/Monday weekends here! Dave (Northern Energy) is bringing them a brand new 120 gallon propane tank today to replace their "years-old" system of three 5-gallon bottles. It is not so convenient right now to bring those replacements!

It would be fun to do more with this page. If you have some ideas, please let me know!
